Conservation International (CI) announced today the launch of the Sustainable Coffee Challenge a call to action to make coffee the first sustainable agricultural product in the world – alongside a coalition of partner organizations including Starbucks, the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and COSA.
“We are proud to partner in The Sustainable Coffee Challenge. It is an innovative effort to elicit the commitment necessary to continue the extraordinary trajectory of this crop toward sustainability. This effort will be well measured so that it can serve as a beacon for best practices and as a stimulus for other commodities and crops to achieve this status,” said Daniele Giovannucci, COSA President
